Where are you located? Looking Glass Inn is located at the South end of Lincoln City overlooking Siletz Bay in the Historic Taft District.
Are you on the ocean? We have beautiful views of Siletz Bay and the ocean in the distance. We are across the street from the bay and the beach.
What are your office hours? The office is open 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. each day.
Is someone available after office hours? If you have an urgent need or an emergency after hours, there is always a staff member available to assist. Dial 0 from your room or call 541-996-3996 to reach an employee after hours.
What are your check-in and check-out times? Check-in is at 4 p.m. and Check-out is 11 a.m. The hotel office closes at 10 p.m. If you are going to arrive after 10 p.m., please call us at 541-996-3996 to make arrangements.
Do you provide daily housekeeping service? The quality of your stay will be ensured by our fine staff. Daily housekeeping service is available 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. We are always happy to deliver fresh towels and additional amenities as needed during your stay.
How old do you need to be to reserve a room? To reserve a hotel room guests must be 21 years old.
Do you need a credit card to reserve a room? Is the card charged at the time of reservation? All reservations require a credit card to guarantee. The card is held and isn’t charged until your arrival. Reservations over the 4th of July will be charged an advance deposit of one night at the time of reservation.
What is your cancellation policy? We require 72 hours’ notice to cancel. If the cancellation is made with less than 72 hours’ notice, we will charge for the first night of the stay. During holiday time periods and special events, we require two weeks’ notice.
Do you have Jacuzzi rooms? We offer an adults-only building featuring Whirlpool Suites, each with a king bed, deck, kitchenette, gas fireplace, and a large whirlpool tub.
Do you have rooms for families? Yes, we have a large variety of family rooms. There are Two Queen Studios, One Bedroom Suites and Two Bedroom Suites that are all wonderful rooms for families. Many of the suites have full kitchens.
Are your rooms non-smoking? All of our rooms and decks are non-smoking. Guests will be charged a $200 fee if they smoke in a room.
Do your rooms have kitchens? All of our rooms have refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee makers. All the One Bedroom Suites and Two Bedroom Suites have kitchens with a sink, cooktop, utensils, dishes, bowls, and pots and pans. A selection of suites have full kitchens with ovens.
Do you provide coffee in the rooms? All of the rooms include complimentary coffee from a local company, Left Coast Coffee. One coffee packet is provided daily. It will make a full-sized pot of coffee. Additional packets are available for $2.75 each.
Are dogs allowed in all rooms? We allow 2 dogs per room of any size. Each dog is $20 per night (increasing 6/1/26 to $25). Dogs may not be left uncrated in the room. We have crates to borrow if needed. We only allow dogs; no other pets are permitted in the rooms. On the property, dogs must be on a leash at all times.
Is the fire pit, crab cooking station and picnic area open to everyone? The fire pit, crab cooking station, and picnic area are open to all hotel guests. The fire pit is open seasonally until 10 p.m. The crab cooking station and picnic area are on a first come first serve basis. Blankets, crab cooking supplies, and BBQ tools are available to borrow.
Do you have beach blankets, beach toys, and chairs for hotel guests to borrow? Yes, we have beach blankets, a large collection of beach toys, chairs, and wagons for guests to borrow.
Are fires allowed on Oregon beaches? Fires are permitted on the beach. All fires must abide by the Oregon Coast state parks guidelines – Oregon Shore State Recreation Area. During very dry periods fires may be banned.
What will happen in the event of a Tsunami? In the event of a tsunami, sirens will sound. If you hear the sirens, follow the posted tsunami evacuation signs to higher ground. There is a weekly tsunami warning system test on Wednesday. During that time the siren will only go for 20 seconds.
